After the devastation of the 1999 earthquake, Casa Guatemala was left without one of the basic human needs - shelter. The houses of both the boys and girls were completely destroyed as well as the dining hall. It was then that one of our greatest supporters stepped in. Philanthropist Lennox McNeely has been a God send to Casa Guatemala through his generosity, and continued care and support our children now have a new home. His help has washed away the remains of their tragic loss in the replacement of both dormitories and the new dining hall. His continued commitment to the well being of all the children is a wonderful example of how one person can change the lives of hundreds. Lennox is a loved member of the Casa Guatemala family and is always greeted with hugs and smiles by those he has helped when in Guatemala.
